Job Description

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage housekeeping staff, and ensure that our luxury standards are met throughout our Durban facility. Your role is critical in maintaining cleanliness and guest satisfaction, contributing to our reputation as a top hospitality provider.

Responsibilities

• Lead the housekeeping team and oversee daily cleaning operations.
• Ensure that guest rooms and public areas meet quality standards.
• Conduct training on cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies when necessary.
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve cleanliness issues promptly.
• Facilitate effective communication between housekeeping and other hotel departments.
• Assist in setting departmental goals and objectives.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive work environment to foster team morale.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Hospitality Management diploma preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in housekeeping management or supervisory role

Languages
