Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and functionality of our products by conducting thorough testing. You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to identify and rectify issues before release.

Responsibilities

• Draft detailed test scenarios based on product specifications.
• Manage bug reports and ensure timely resolutions.
• Work with agile teams to ensure testing is integrated into the development cycle.
• Conduct performance and load testing to assess application resilience.
• Contribute to documentation of processes for future reference.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to gather feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• ISTQB Advanced Level Certification is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in software testing and QA processes

Certifications

• Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of Database Testing: Experience in testing and validating databases.
