Job Description

As a Corporate Attorney at our Johannesburg office, you will leverage your legal expertise to provide strategic advice on corporate governance, compliance, and transactional law. Work closely with clients to develop solutions that align with their business objectives while ensuring legal adherence.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on compliance issues and corporate governance.
• Conducting due diligence during transactions.
• Developing legal strategies to mitigate risks.
• Facilitating changes to corporate structures and agreements.
• Providing training on legal matters to internal teams.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Mentoring junior attorneys and interns in legal practices.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent legal degree
• Admitted attorney/advocate
• Further studies in business management or law are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years in corporate law and transactional practice

Technical Skills

• Corporate Governance Proficiency

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
