Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Legal Consultant to join our team in Centurion. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of legal principles and practices, and will provide expert advice to clients on various legal matters, ensuring compliance with South African law. You will work closely with a team of legal professionals, addressing complex legal issues and contributing to the successful resolution of cases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with clients to assess their legal needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication.
• Prepare opinions and legal memos on complex legal issues.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
• Ensure all legal documents are compliant with current legislation.
• Participate in professional development to stay abreast of legal trends.
• Advocate for clients in a variety of legal settings.
• Develop and implement compliance programs for clients.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent law degree
• Master's in Law (LLM) is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
