We are searching for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will focus on optimizing and improving manufacturing processes using advanced engineering techniques.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production lines to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Work on the design and installation of new manufacturing systems.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality components are used.
• Engage in product development projects to improve manufacturability.
• Monitor industry trends to incorporate best practices into operations.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support project goals.
• Assist in cost reduction initiatives through process optimization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus on Manufacturing
• Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years experience within a manufacturing environment
