Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Advisor to join our Johannesburg office. The candidate will provide expert legal counsel, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while supporting our clients in various legal matters. This role requires insightful judgement and the ability to handle sensitive issues discreetly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and filing of legal documents.
• Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory bodies.
• Provide input on corporate strategy from a legal perspective.
• Handle intellectual property matters, including trademarks and copyrights.
• Advocate for the company in legal disputes and negotiations.
• Review internal policies for legal compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field
• Additional certifications in corporate law or compliance preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in legal practice or advisory roles
