Customer Service Representative

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong empathy for our customers, and a passion for delivering outstanding service. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them resolve inquiries, complaints, and questions efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer queries with attention to detail.
• Ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
• Generate reports on customer interactions and feedback.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and company initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• Diploma or degree in customer service-related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years experience in a customer-facing role

Technical Skills

• CRM Software Proficiency
• Data Entry

• Time Management
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Fluency in additional South African languages: Being multilingual is advantageous for supporting diverse customer bases.
• Familiarity with customer service software: Experience working with platforms like Zendesk or Freshdesk is a plus.
