Job Description

As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for directing the operations of our food and beverage services in Durban. You will work closely with chefs and service staff to develop a menu that delights our guests while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily food and beverage operations to ensure excellence.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff in food service etiquette and standards.
• Oversee menu development in collaboration with chefs and nutritionists.
• Implement best practices for operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Develop marketing strategies for promoting food and beverage offerings.
• Foster a positive working environment through team-building activities.
• Analyze customer feedback and improve service offerings.
• Maintain supplier relationships and manage procurement processes.
• Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and profitability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in food and beverage management roles
