Job Description

We are on the hunt for a talented HR Generalist to join us in Durban. In this role, you’ll manage and support HR operations, helping to drive initiatives that improve employee satisfaction and compliance with employment regulations. A proactive mindset and strong interpersonal skills are essential as you collaborate with diverse teams across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee onboarding processes for new hires and facilitate orientation sessions.
  • Conduct regular employee evaluations and provide feedback for performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with management to create a positive work environment.
  • Assist in conflict resolution and mediate workplace disputes.
  • Develop strategies for talent retention and employee satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practices.
  • Prepare HR reports for management review.
  • Manage health and safety compliance within the workplace.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programmes.
  • Support the implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Postgraduate HR qualifications are a plus
Experience
  • 4+ years experience in generalist HR roles
