Pet Trainer

Job Description

The Pet Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering effective training programs for pets and their owners. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in animal behaviour and be passionate about facilitating positive pet-owner relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement effective training schedules tailored to individual pet needs.
• Conduct assessments of pets and owners to identify specific training needs.
• Work with various pet species and temperaments, adapting techniques as necessary.
• Stay current with new training methods and seek professional development opportunities.
• Engage pet owners in training processes, ensuring understanding and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field is preferred
• Certification in dog training or animal behaviour is highly advisable

Experience

• Proven experience in designing and delivering successful pet training programmes
