Construction Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Construction Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. This role involves overseeing multiple construction projects, managing the workflow and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members will be essential to the success of each project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work is completed according to specifications and local codes.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review contracts and agreements to ensure compliance and understanding of scope.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Management is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in construction management
