Join our Durban team as a Risk Compliance Manager, where you will lead compliance oversight and risk mitigation efforts. This role demands an analytical thinker with robust problem-solving skills, ready to establish compliance protocols that safeguard our business interests.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of compliance programs that fulfill regulatory obligations.
  • Evaluate potential risks and develop action plans to address compliance issues.
  • Support management in understanding compliance impacts on business objectives.
  • Facilitate audits and investigations to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Enhance communication regarding compliance matters across all levels of the organization.
  • Coach staff on compliance issues to foster an organizational culture of integrity.
  • Develop performance metrics to continually assess and improve compliance effectiveness.
  • Manage the compliance monitoring and risk assessment framework.
  • Report on compliance operations and risks to the Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Ensure documentation and records related to compliance are maintained accurately.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Master's degree in Compliance Management or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a compliance or risk role within a corporate environment
