Job Description

As a Mental Health Professional, you will play a critical role in assessing and treating clients with mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include individual and group therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare providers. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose mental health conditions.
  • Guide and support clients through their recovery journeys.
  • Facilitate workshops and support groups.
  • Work closely with healthcare providers to coordinate care.
  • Conduct research on mental health trends and treatment effectiveness.
  • Advocate for patients’ needs within the healthcare system.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Mental Health or a related field
  • Additional training in therapeutic modalities is beneficial
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in therapeutic settings
Technical Skills
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Trauma-Informed Care
Soft Skills
  • Active Listening
  • Crisis Intervention
Certifications
  • Mental Health First Aid Certification
  • Trauma-Informed Care Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent
