Risk Policy Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Risk Policy Manager to lead our compliance initiatives in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring risk policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Draft and revise compliance policies and procedures.
• Coordinate local compliance activities and initiatives.
• Advise management on compliance risks and changes in legislation.
• Maintain up-to-date records of compliance activities.
• Develop compliance assessments and monitor effectiveness.
• Guide audits by external bodies and implement corrective actions.
• Foster transparency and accountability within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, or related field
• An additional qualification in Compliance or Corporate Governance is preferred

Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in compliance or risk management

• Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP)

• Experience with Training and Development in Compliance: Ability to deliver training programs related to compliance and ethics.
