Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated General Practitioner to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical care, conduct patient examinations, and offer treatment plans tailored to individual needs. This role is pivotal in delivering compassionate healthcare and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients by taking medical histories and performing physical examinations.
  • Interpret laboratory results and radiologic studies.
  • Administer injections, vaccinations, and other treatments.
  • Provide referrals to specialists when necessary.
  • Promote preventive health measures and wellness initiatives.
  • Stay current with advances in healthcare and medical practices.
  • Engage patients in discussions about their health and wellness goals.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical setting
