Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Pharmacy Technician in Pretoria, where you will help manage medication dispensing and inventory control. In this role, you will engage directly with patients, answer their queries, and provide them with the guidance they need on their medications. Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists in the daily operations of the pharmacy.
• Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy.
• Assist with medication therapy management.
• Inventory control, including ordering and restocking medications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy workspace.
• Participate in pharmacy quality assurance activities.
• Provide patient counseling on prescription medications.
• Assist in training new pharmacy staff as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Pharmacy Technician certification preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Pharmacy software systems
• Medication preparation

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Attention to detail

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with pharmacy inventory management software: Familiarity with software used for managing stock levels and ordering.
