Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. This full-time position requires excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Create individualized therapy plans based on patient assessments.
  • Deliver direct therapy to children and adults experiencing communication challenges.
  • Educate families on communication techniques and resources.
  • Record and analyze treatment outcomes to guide program improvements.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress.
  • Provide training and supervision to junior therapists and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in speech-language therapy
