Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of QA methodologies and automation testing, and will play an integral role in ensuring top-quality software delivery in our projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain documentation of test scenarios and results.
• Attend project meetings and collaborate with other teams to address quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards for software quality.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior QA staff.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and tools.
• Conduct risk assessments and evaluate software quality metrics.
• Engage in performance and stress testing to validate robustness.
• Utilize analytical skills to understand system behavior and improve testing efficiency.
• Actively involve in the troubleshooting and resolution of customer-reported issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in QA processes and methodologies

Technical Skills

• API Testing
• Test Management Tools

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Experience using CI/CD tools like Jenkins to automate testing.
