Job Description

We are seeking a Benefits Specialist to manage our employee benefits program in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving employee satisfaction through effective administration of benefits, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of employee benefits programs and continuously improve individual offerings.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for employee benefits, providing guidance and support to HR staff.
  • Ensure timely enrollment and termination of benefits for new hires and separating employees.
  • Develop communication materials to highlight benefits offerings and changes.
  • Analyze employee feedback to enhance the benefits offerings and employee engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate benefits deductions and compliance.
  • Lead training sessions for employees to educate them on benefits options.
  • Conduct market research to benchmark our benefits offerings against competitors.
