Job Description

The Hands Assembler will be responsible for assembling products manually using various tools and equipment in accordance with company standards and specifications. This role is crucial for ensuring that all produced items meet quality standards and are assembled correctly to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products by hand using various tools.
  • Inspect assembled products for defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
  • Keep track of inventory and report shortages.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts for assembly processes.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order.
  • Follow standardized operating procedures to maintain efficiency.
  • Assist in cleaning and organizing the workspace at shift end.
  • Participate in safety training programs.
  • Contribute ideas for process enhancements to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
Experience
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Prior experience in a similar role: Experience in manual assembly or manufacturing environment is beneficial.

  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics: Understanding of assembly instructions and blueprints.
