Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animals, providing surgical care, and educating pet owners about health management. This role requires a passion for animal welfare and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostics for pets.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Surgery is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in veterinary surgery

Certifications

• Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Certification
• Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in emergency and critical care: Hands-on experience in emergency veterinary care is a plus.
• Proficiency in veterinary software: Familiarity with managing practice management software.
