HR Generalist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated HR Generalist to support our HR department in Cape Town. You will play a key role in employee relations, recruitment processes, and compliance with relevant labour legislation, enhancing our team culture and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment and onboarding.
• Ensure adherence to HR-related legal standards.
• Develop and execute training programs for staff.
• Assist in the review and implementation of company policies.
• Manage employee relations and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
• Coordinate employee recognition initiatives.
• Assist with payroll and benefits administration.
• Implement employee feedback mechanisms.
• Support organizational development and change initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Postgraduate diploma in HR Management is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of HR experience

• HR Information Systems
• Performance Management Systems

• Interpersonal Skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)
• Certificate in Labour Law

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans.
• Experience in health and safety compliance: Skills in ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
