Job Description

As a Landscape Architect, you will have the opportunity to create stunning landscapes that enhance the natural beauty of their surroundings. Your expertise will guide our projects from concept through to construction. We are looking for someone who is passionate about integrating nature into urban settings and who is skilled at communicating ideas through plans and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive landscape designs for varied sites.
• Prepare landscape layout drawings using CAD or similar software.
• Create presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects.
• Implement sustainable practices in landscape construction.
• Attend site meetings to oversee the implementation of designs.
• Assess and manage project budgets effectively.
• Engage with community stakeholders for input on public projects.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate landscape maintenance needs.
• Mentor junior landscape designers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in landscape design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Plant Identification
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Creative Thinking
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Landscape Architect (RLA)
• LEED Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiar with GIS software: Understanding of Geographic Information Systems for site analysis.
• Experience with sustainable landscaping practices: Knowledge of environmentally friendly design practices.
