Retail Cashier

Job Description

As a Retail Cashier, you'll be at the forefront of our customer interactions, providing a friendly and efficient checkout experience. You'll handle cash and card transactions, assist with returns and exchanges, and maintain an organized cash wrap area.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance.
• Process transactions swiftly and accurately.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
• Maintain an orderly and tidy workspace.
• Assist with product displays and store layout.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
• Build rapport with regular customers for enhanced service.
• Participate in sales promotions and upselling.
• Assist in training new cashiers as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Certificate in Customer Service or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 1-3 years of retail experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Cash Register Operation

Languages

• English: Fluent
