We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Johannesburg. This position involves ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through rigorous testing and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a keen eye for identifying bugs and recommending improvements.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive test strategies and execute testing phases.
• Analyze test results and document findings meticulously.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams regarding quality issues.
• Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on testability.
• Support automation of testing processes where applicable.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and processes for improving testing efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance testing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Agile or Scrum testing processes is advantageous.
