Job Description

We are searching for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of software testing methodologies. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Design detailed test scenarios to validate functionality, performance, and usability.
• Execute manual and automated tests on software applications.
• Log defects in tracking systems, providing clear and concise documentation.
• Work closely with product managers to understand functional requirements.
• Develop testing metrics to assess product quality and test effectiveness.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.
• Help train and mentor junior QA team members.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and project meetings to discuss progress.
• Review requirements and specifications to ensure testability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• ISTQB Certification is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
