Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated General Manager with hotel management experience to lead our team in Cape Town. You will be pivotal in creating memorable experiences for our guests while managing the daily operations, finances, and staff training. Responsibilities

  • Supervise all hotel departments, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
  • Build a guest-centric culture and promote exceptional service delivery.
  • Manage promotional campaigns to attract new and returning guests.
  • Control operational costs while maintaining high service standards.
  • Enhance hotel revenues through effective pricing and sales strategies.
  • Conduct staff meetings to discuss updates and improvements.
  • Handle vendor relationships to secure favorable service agreements.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels to meet hotel demands.
  • Develop and implement a regular training schedule for hotel staff.
  • Monitor guest feedback and make necessary adjustments to services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field
  • Postgraduate degree in Hospitality Management is preferred

  • 7+ years of management experience in the hospitality industry
