Job Description

We are seeking an Inclusion Specialist to join our Johannesburg team to drive our diversity and inclusion initiatives. You will be responsible for developing strategies to promote a diverse workforce and cultivating an inclusive environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

  • Create an annual D&I report assessing key metrics and progress.
  • Partner with external consultants to enhance D&I strategies.
  • Lead workshops centered around cultural competency and awareness.
  • Promote awareness of unconscious bias and its impact on the workplace.
  • Engage in community events focused on diversity efforts.
  • Facilitate dialogue between employees from varied backgrounds.
  • Incorporate feedback from staff to improve D&I efforts continuously.
  • Ensure compliance with D&I legislation and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, or related field
  • Master's degree in Human Resource Management is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in an HR or D&I role
