We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to manage payroll processing for our employees in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, with a focus on compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Accurately process payroll for employees on a regular schedule.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
Maintain and update employee payroll records and documentation.
Address employee inquiries regarding payroll processes politely and promptly.
Collaborate closely with HR for employee onboarding and offboarding related to payroll.
Generate payroll reports for audits and management review.
Assist with the review and updating of payroll policies as needed.
Perform regular checks and audits on payroll entries for discrepancies.
Keep abreast of payroll trends and changes in legislation.
Support the finance team with other ad hoc payroll tasks as required.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
Experience
3+ years of relevant payroll experience in a corporate environment
