Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our logistics operations in Cape Town. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of the warehouse, managing inventory, and coordinating staff in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring accuracy and reducing shrinkage.
• Develop performance metrics to assess warehouse operations.
• Implement best practices in logistics and inventory management.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure systems are optimized for warehouse operations.
• Address and resolve any logistical challenges promptly.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on new processes or technology.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders involved in logistics.
• Evaluate supplier performance and seek opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of staff and provide feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or logistics
