Job Description

We are looking for an HR Compliance Officer to enhance our compliance framework and ensure that all HR practices align with the applicable labor laws in South Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing compliance programs, conducting audits, and fostering a culture of regulatory awareness. You will serve as a resource for the HR team and executive management, advising on compliance-related matters.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance program components.
  • Serve as a liaison with external regulatory agencies.
  • Assist in the development of communication materials regarding compliance matters.
  • Provide support during compliance audits from regulatory authorities.
  • Facilitate discussions on compliance improvement measures.
  • Maintain a repository of compliance-related documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Master's degree or specialized training in compliance is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a compliance role within HR
