Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and proactive HR Generalist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR functions and be able to handle a wide range of responsibilities from recruitment to employee relations. Your role will be pivotal in shaping company culture and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the onboarding process and new employee orientation.
  • Administer employee performance review processes.
  • Support the management of workplace health and safety policies.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes and compliance.
  • Implement employee engagement strategies.
  • Foster good relationships between employees and management.
  • Assist in managing annual salary reviews and increments.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends and legislation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in HR is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management roles
