Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist in our Cape Town practice, you'll be at the forefront of mental health care, providing essential services to individuals and families. This role requires a compassionate approach, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations.
  • Deliver therapy using evidence-based practices.
  • Work closely with clients to set and achieve treatment goals.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and resources.
  • Stay compliant with mental health regulations and ethical guidelines.
  • Document client progress and outcomes meticulously.
  • Mentor and supervise junior psychologists and interns.
  • Engage in community outreach and mental health awareness initiatives.
  • Lead and participate in professional development workshops.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology
  • Doctorate in Psychology is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting
