Job Description

The Wheat Cleaner will oversee the cleaning and processing of wheat within a manufacturing setting. This role is crucial for ensuring that the wheat is free from impurities and meets quality standards required for further processing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the grain cleaning process and ensure high standards.
• Document procedures and maintain records accurately.
• Identify and sort different grades of wheat for processing.
• Ensure the compliance of all operations with quality standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss productivity.
• Assist with the maintenance of machinery used in wheat cleaning.
• Continuously look for ways to enhance cleaning processes.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a similar manufacturing role preferred

Technical Skills

• Physical dexterity
• Basic machinery maintenance

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with food safety regulations: Familiarity with policies that ensure the safety of food products.
