Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Legal Advisor based in Cape Town who will provide expert legal guidance and support to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of South African law, particularly in corporate and labor matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop training materials on legal compliance for staff.
• Evaluate potential legal risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve legal disputes effectively.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external legal representatives.
• Monitor changes in legislation that may impact the company.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent degree in Law
• Postgraduate qualification in law is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in legal practice, focusing on commercial law.
