Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Legal Advisor to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and guidance on a range of corporate matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will work closely with clients to understand their legal needs and develop tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assess the legal implications of business decisions and strategies.
• Provide training to staff on legal compliance and related issues.
• Manage disputes and litigation processes effectively.
• Develop and implement legal policies and frameworks.
• Provide specialized knowledge on regional laws and regulations affecting the business.
• Foster relationships with external stakeholders and legal entities.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree or equivalent qualification
• Admitted attorney in South Africa preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a legal advisory role

• Chartered Institute of Arbitrators
