We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and provide legal support to various business units while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Responsibilities
Support the development of compliance programs and training for staff.
Assist in corporate governance and board meeting preparations.
Participate in the negotiation of contracts to protect the company’s interests.
Monitor significant legal cases and developments relevant to the business.
Advise on employment law matters and workplace compliance issues.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
Master's degree in Law is advantageous
Experience
6+ years of legal experience in corporate settings

Advantageous
