Job Description

As a Social and Community Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities throughout their vocational rehabilitation journey. You will develop tailored plans that enhance clients' job-seeking skills and connect them with suitable employment opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' vocational skills, needs, and limitations.
  • Develop and implement personalized vocational rehabilitation strategies.
  • Assist clients in job-seeking processes, including resume and interview preparation.
  • Facilitate partnerships with employers to create job opportunities for clients.
  • Offer continuous support and follow-up with clients to ensure their integration into the workforce.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic rehabilitation services.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of client cases and program outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of labor market developments to inform clients effectively.
  • Regularly review and adjust rehabilitation plans based on client feedback.
  • Provide psycho-social support to enhance clients' confidence and resilience.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Vocational Rehabilitation
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in vocational rehabilitation or a related field.
