Join our team as a Legal Counsel in Cape Town, where you'll offer expert legal advice to drive business success and compliance. This role involves reviewing contracts, managing disputes, and developing company policies. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure legal risks are identified and mitigated effectively while supporting business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Advise on corporate legal matters and ensure adherence to statutory regulations.
• Draft legal documents, including contracts and memoranda of understanding.
• Engage with stakeholders to communicate legal positions effectively.
• Assist with regulatory filings and compliance documentation.
• Provide risk assessments and legal opinions on various projects.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of all legal resources and documentation.
• Facilitate communication between legal and non-legal departments.
• Monitor litigation and ensure appropriate responses and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years in a legal advisory role preferably in corporate law
