Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Drilling and Boring Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC jig mills, ensuring the production of high-quality components.

Responsibilities

• Operate jig milling machines while maintaining a high standard of safety.
• Read and interpret engineering specifications and blueprints.
• Adjust machine settings to produce various types of materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with quality control inspectors to ensure compliance.
• Train junior operators on machinery operation and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• National Technical Certificate in Engineering (N3 or higher)
• Trade Certificate as a Machinist or Toolmaker

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Jig Mill Operator or similar role.

Technical Skills

• CNC Programming
• Technical Drawing Interpretation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Mastercam and SolidWorks: Hands-on experience using Mastercam and SolidWorks for CNC programming.
• Familiarity with quality control inspection tools: Knowledge of micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
