Job Description

As the Employee Relations Lead, you will be instrumental in developing HR policies, improving communication channels, and executing employee engagement programs to ensure a motivated workforce in Durban.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to enhance employee relations.
  • Manage conflict resolution processes and ensure effective communication.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
  • Conduct investigations into workplace grievances and provide recommendations.
  • Collaborate with management to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Train and support managers on effective employee relations practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee relations records and documentation.
  • Assist in the development of training programs to build employee skills.
  • Monitor and report on employee satisfaction and engagement levels.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in HR or Labour Relations is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations
