As the Employee Relations Lead, you will be instrumental in developing HR policies, improving communication channels, and executing employee engagement programs to ensure a motivated workforce in Durban.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to enhance employee relations.
Manage conflict resolution processes and ensure effective communication.
Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
Conduct investigations into workplace grievances and provide recommendations.
Collaborate with management to promote a positive workplace culture.
Train and support managers on effective employee relations practices.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate employee relations records and documentation.
Assist in the development of training programs to build employee skills.
Monitor and report on employee satisfaction and engagement levels.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Postgraduate qualification in HR or Labour Relations is advantageous
Experience
5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations
