Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Bloemfontein office. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and overseeing the manufacturing of mechanical systems and devices. You will utilize your knowledge to improve existing designs and ensure compliance with safety regulations while collaborating with other engineers to drive innovation within our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of innovative mechanical solutions for project challenges.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders and clients to present project ideas.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Address any production or design issues through effective problem-solving.
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Implement best practices for project management and engineering standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus
Experience
  • 5 years of experience in mechanical design and production
