Hot Box Operator

Job Description

The Hot Box Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the hot box machine in a safe and efficient manner to ensure the production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate, and oversee the hot box machine during production shifts.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement quality assurance measures to maintain product standards.
• Lead by example in adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Participate in training new operators on machinery operation and safety practices.
• Assist in inventory management of manufacturing materials.
• Collaborate with the quality control department to ensure compliance with specifications.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with safety regulations
• Basic mechanical skills

Soft Skills

• Team player
• Problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety: Certification demonstrating knowledge of safety standards in the workplace.
