We are seeking a proficient Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing engineering solutions that enhance our projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Evaluate and select materials for mechanical components.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for materials and parts.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety evaluations.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams for project execution.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them where applicable.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Higher diploma in engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Project Management

• Leadership
• Communication

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in renewable energy projects: Knowledge of engineering practices in the renewable energy sector.
