Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. This role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, providing information about the hotel and local attractions, and ensuring that every visitor feels welcome and valued.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for guests during check-in and check-out.
  • Manage booking systems and ensure all information is accurately recorded.
  • Handle guest complaints and strive for satisfactory resolutions.
  • Support the overall guest experience by coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance.
  • Conduct night audits and ensure proper cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with marketing efforts by promoting hotel amenities and services.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance front office skills.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company values.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
  • Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of booking systems

Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Zulu: Conversational
