Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Event Planner to join our team in Pietermaritzburg. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences. You will be responsible for managing events from conception to completion, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring our clients’ expectations are met.

Responsibilities

• Research and select appropriate venues and vendors based on event requirements.
• Develop creative concepts for events, ensuring they align with client objectives.
• Maintain a detailed project plan for each event from inception to completion.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
• Facilitate communication between clients and vendors throughout the event lifecycle.
• Prepare marketing materials and event agendas as needed.
• Log and track event expenses to remain within budget.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Event Management or Hospitality

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in large-scale event planning

Technical Skills

• Vendor Negotiation

Languages

• English: Fluent
