Join our legal team as a Legal Advisor in Johannesburg, where you'll be instrumental in advising on legal strategies and ensuring compliance with local laws. The successful applicant will be proactive in identifying legal risks and mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal risk assessments and compliance audits.
• Coordinate with external counsel as required.
• Provide training on legal issues to management and staff.
• Develop internal policies to mitigate legal risks.
• Advise on intellectual property and trademark registrations.
• Stay informed on industry trends and legal developments.
• Support in building strategic partnerships with external entities.
• Create and maintain legal databases and documentation systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or relevant field
• Postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or corporate law
