Legal Executive - Cape Town - Paralegal

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Legal Executive to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will provide support to attorneys, manage case files, and ensure all documentation is prepared accurately. A strong understanding of the legal framework in South Africa is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
• Work on litigation support, including evidence gathering and document preparation.
• Ensure client records are up-to-date and accurately maintained.
• Assist in negotiations and settlement discussions.
• Participate in training programs and legal workshops to enhance knowledge.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure comprehensive legal support.
• Engage with clients to clarify legal concerns and provide information.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
• Completion of a Legal Assistant Course is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years experience working in a law firm or legal department
