Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients at regulatory and administrative bodies.
• Analyze case facts and legal issues to develop strategies.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys on complex cases.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions.
• Conduct thorough investigations and gather relevant evidence.
• Assist in alternate dispute resolution processes when appropriate.
• Advocate on behalf of clients in negotiations and mediations.
• Engage in continuous professional development to sharpen legal skills.
• Contribute to the firm’s marketing and business development efforts.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB)
• Admission as an attorney in South Africa

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in courtroom litigation

Languages
