Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of litigation and be adept at representing clients in complex legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead litigation processes from inception to conclusion.
• Engage in alternative dispute resolution strategies when applicable.
• Stay up-to-date with legal trends and changes in legislation.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote legal services.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Supervise junior attorneys and legal interns as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and practices.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent law degree
• Postgraduate diploma in Litigation preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a legal setting with a focus on litigation

• Case Management

Certifications

• Admitted Attorney
• South African Law Society Membership

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
